Barefoot on Holy Ground
Can we have a conversation about standing barefoot in the Bible on holy ground?
I found something that’s going to blow your mind.
So there’s a couple of places in the Bible starting with Moses where God tells him to take the sandals off his feet because the place where he is standing is holy ground. So basically telling him to stand barefoot on the ground.
Acts 7:33
33 “Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground
It also happened with Joshua. Joshua was told to remove the sandals from his feet and the place that he was standing is Holy
Joshua 5:15
15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.
Scripture also tells us that life of the flesh is in the blood.
Leviticus 17:11
11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life
We are told in Colossians that Jesus made peace by the blood of his cross.
Colossians 1:20
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
I was looking into new health information learning about healing, and I came across this thing called grounding. It’s where you stand barefoot on the earth … but get this … the earth contains an inexhaustible supply of electrons, which will readily flow into any conductor (like the human body).
In the body, the Earth’s electrons join the positively charged (damaged) tissues, i.e. electrons fill the holes left by the peroxide.
This can be thought of as antioxidant nutrition directly from the Earth! Interestingly, these antioxidants work in the same fashion as many of the antioxidants compounds found in the natural spices and blends in Biblical anointing oil.
Just by living our daily lives on this earth we get positively charged damaged tissues and this is caused by oxidation and it creates peroxide.
So when you stand on the earth barefoot it actually creates a natural antioxidant process.
Our bodies create a stress hormone called cortisol and when you stand on the earth barefoot, the cortisol in your body is dramatically reduced.
Interestingly there is more, according to emerging studies, grounding your body to the earth actually reduces your blood viscosity and reorganizes your blood.

Pretty cool, right?
